HUMY News and Info
Homestead United Methodist Youth, Crossville Tennessee

HUMY meets every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm at the Homestead United Methodist Church in Crossville TN. Everyone is welcome, ALL ages. Our youth group is open to anyone who wants to learn more about a man named Jesus, is seeking fellowship with others, just wants something to do Wednesday nights, or wants to make some great new friends who are always there to support you!

****Things To Remember****

Lay Speaking classes are a GREAT way for young Christians to gain leadership skills in their church. Basic classes will cost $40 and advanced courses will cost $45, this includes the cost of textbooks and materials, Saturday lunch, refreshments daily, certificate and picture. Scholarships are available for those who need assistance with fee. Please Call Holly Neal at (toll free)1-866-244-5155 for information.

Also remember that the next Chrysalis Flight will be in June. For those who don't know Chrysalis is a wonderful ministry to teens who wish to gain a deeper relationship with Christ. It is three days of worship, prayer, fellowship, creative expression, recreation, singing, and discussion with other people your age. There are Chrysalis Flights for high school age students and Chrysalis Journeys for college age teens as well as Emmaus Walks (separate men and womens walks)for your parents ;). This experience helps you explore how an intimate friendship with Jesus can help you live out your faith with family, friends, and other people in your world.

If anyone needs help with their Christian walk, with life itself, have  faith in God and believe anything you ask God for and truly desire to know, God will reveal the truth to you. Just keep in mind that while he will answer you, it may not be the answer you were expecting. Love you all in Christ, God Bless!

To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours: Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. -2 Peter 1:1-2 NIV
