Homestead United Methodist Church's Services on Sunday

*This is only a proposed program of worship because the Holy Spirit is in charge.  If His presence is manifest in a special way, this program will be happily discarded.*

- Park Ministry at Cumberland Mountain State Park occurs on Sundays between Memorial and Labor Day at 8:30 a.m.  Homestead shares this ministry with the Homesteads Baptist Church, and Linary Church of Christ.  HUMC is looking forward to participating this 2008 season.  Dates will be announced later  We meet in the Amphitheatre near the lake except in in-climate weather we meet in the Recreation Hall near the Pool.  We appreciate the support of local folks as well as those who are camping.  Please come be with us! 

- Early Devotion is at 9:45 a.m. please join for prayer and a quick uplifting devotion.

- Sunday School starts at 10:00 a.m. Sunday School is for ALL ages.  Some of our existing classes are Older Adult, Fellowship, New Beginning, Youth, Juniors, Primary, and we have a nursery available.

- Worship Service 11:00 a.m.

- Choir Rehearsals are usually held immediately following morning worship.  Thank you guys for using your gifts and voices to honor our God.  Anyone who wants to sing is WELCOME to join us!!

Special Fellowships

- Homestead United Methodist Youth Group meets Wednesdays 6-7:30 p.m.  More info on the news page under HUMY news and info.

- Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study 6:30 p.m. Note that Bible Study does not meet the first Wednesday of the month.

- Men's Fellowship Breakfast first Saturday of the month at 7:00 in the morning.  After breakfast the men will work on some "Fix Its" around the church.

- Ladies Brunch Bunch meets the second Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. Feel free to join us for some brunch and fellowship, everyone is welcome!
