Visionary, Anointed, Innovative, and Inspiring are some of the words often used to describe Dr. Cornelius Hudson. Pastor Hudson has inspired thousands of believers around the nation. He has an unprecedented prophetic mantle that distinguishes him as a visionary who is making an impact in the Christian Arena. Stepping out on faith, with the support of 27 people who believed that God is going to do the unexpected, Dr. Hudson founded Bethel Temple.  The first service was held on Sunday, January 16, 2005, in a borrowed sanctuary. In just three short years, God has directed the paths of several members to Bethel Temple, one of the fastest growing churches.

Dr. Hudson is a pastor with a global mission, which is “PowerPointPreaching.” Rev. Hudson has raised the standard of worship by re-energizing the church to become the sound doctrinal and disciplined place of worship while acknowledging the work of the Holy Spirit in the worship experience.  His greatest desire is that the church-be-the-church.  His “out of the box” ministry has caused the church to provide effective ministry for the believer and present the gospel to the unbeliever in such a way they will come and say “What must I do to be saved?”.

Pastor Hudson believes that the body of Christ should be empowered in every area of life. His preaching and teaching focuses on equipping and empowering believers spiritually, educationally, culturally, and strengthening them economically.

Prior to his role as pastor, Dr. Hudson served as the Associate Pastor and Minister of music at Wesley Chapel AME Church, where under the influence that congregation grew at a phenomenal rate.

Rev. Dr. Cornelius Hudson is an ordained minister, and received his Doctorate of Ministry in June, 2004.  Rev. Dr. Cornelius Hudson is certified Pastoral Care Specialist with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. 

He is the proud and devoted father to his blessed sons, Shannon, Bryan, Jermaine, and Jeremy.  There’s no other way to describe him other than an “Anointed Visionary Prophet Empowering the People through the Word.”
