A minister should be a man of prayer and a faithful believer in the Word of God. Should behave well with others especially with the opposite sex. Should treat the other members of the congregation with wisdom, pureness, love, and cleanness, preocuppied for the espiritual needs from them. Should be formal, honored, makes full proof of his compromises and be somebody that can be trust worthy. Should administer good the work of the Lord. Shoud guide all his family in the way of God an dlove and consider his wife and be an example for his children. Should obey his superiors and should treat his co-workers ministers with deep estimation and respect, the great christian ethic. Should be away of critics that wounds the reputation of his brother and co-workers ministers. INITIATION TO THE MINISTRY: The candidate shoud be at least 18 years old. Believe and practice the Apostolic Doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. Must have at least 3 years of been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and have recieved the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. If married, his wife should be baptize in the name of Jesus Christ and have the Holy Spirit. Should have a good testimony with the church and with them that are without.w how to read and write. He must pay his tithes faithfully. He must have been a faithful member for at least 2 years of a local church. Be in agreement with the doctrinal, economic, and the organizational system of the local church. Be willing to undertake the two Biblical Ministerials Courses, that covers two years, to prepare for the ministry. Office of a Deacon: The Deacons are those ministers that help the pastors in the mangement of the churches and in all that is in command. These, been separated for the ministry by the Pastor or the council, should be, in the Church, for 2 years after his ordenation of the office of deacon. The Deacons should visit homes of the members to be informed of the physical need and espiritual of the local memebers and shoud give this reports to their local Pastors. CREDENTIALS: There are given to types of ministerial licenses. The annual coute for each license is $30.00. 1. EVANGELIST: Are those ministers that are been called by God especially to preach the Gospel to them which are without and open new missions. The Evangelist shoud have a "home church", a church and pastor that recognizes and support him. He has a LICENSE to preach where doors are open and visit and pray for the sick in homes, prison, hospitals, etc. After been working 2 years, like an Evangelist and under a local pastor, he then, with a good recomendation from his pastor, can apply for the Local License. If the Evangelist works in a mission where a pastor cannot go and baptize or pastor the new souls, then the Evangelist should take care of them and can administer the baptism of water, such as he lets know his superior, his pastor or the Bishop-Supervisor of the Corporation. 2. LOCAL LICENSE: These are the assistants of pastor or elders of the church to help the pastors in the works that are assign, for which they cannot have major authority nor functions which are for pastors to trust them. He has LICENSE with privilegs of a pastor except NOT to direct a marriage ceremony. After been serving 4 years, as Local Minister under a Local Pastor (or if he served 2 years as Evangelist and 2 years as Local Minister), with a good recomandation from his Pastor, he can open his own church and recieve the License of Pastor, which is, Ordenation. 3. LICENSE OF PASTOR: This LICENSE gives all the privileies, that for regular, is given to an ordained minister: baptize, marriage ceremonies, funerals, presentations of children, etc. [a] Ministers that have worked 4 years under a pastor can apply for this license. [b] Ministers that come from other Apostolic movement, that are pastors or that have a church under him or have open a mission, after filing an application, can recieve this license. [c] Trinity Pastors, newly baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, for 1 year is given a temporary license to be first proved and then can apply for an Ordenation License or from Apostolic Pastor. Article 7: Discipline for Church Members1. The one who is member of the Body of Christ, the one is member of the Church of Christ and is accepted like a member of a local church. To be a member of the Church, you have to be born again like Acts 2:38. The member obeys his Pastor and the ministers. Gives their tithes from everything that they earn, of work, rents, sales, etc. and does everything for the expansion of the Work of God. Anyways the tithes, is obligated to bring their offerings to the services of God. Should be faithful to all local church services. Should accept the Pastor counseling and work to the best presentation of the Temple with out expecting anybody to tell him to do it. Should not be tattlers and staying away of others life and should make disciples of their families, neighbors and their friends. Above all, demonstrate in everyting the CHARITY. 2. The member that is been accused or is out of the grace of God, the accused will be called unto the Disciple Comitee (Pastor and Elders) of the local church and the purpose of this will be: (a) Correction (b) Restore the person (c) Keep the assembly's testimony (d) Protect the rest from the corruption * shall discover the truth of the case. * If found guilty, shall be exhort to repentence. * If the guilty repents, ask forgiveness, should be forgiven. * Shall be first proved for a determination period. * During this period shall be subjected to the determination of the commitee. * if the person does not repent and recognizes its sin, then shall be removed like member of the local assembly and if its assitance to services be an escandal, then the entrance will be denial, 1 Corinthains 5:13. 3. The member that intentionally is absent, for a period of 6 months of the local assembly and their offerings and tithes, the one shall be on the edge to suffer cancelation of the membership. 4. Every member, that changes residence should look a church of the Apostolic Faith in the area to go. When traveling they should find a Church of the Faith en that area to assist. If changing residence or traveling is better to carry a letter of recomendation signed by their local Pastor and presented to the church Pastor en the place they visit or the the place where they will attend. Like this you will prevent lots of problems. All members of the Body of Christ shall live a life of holiness and honesty. Therefore, be aware that sin is immorality, the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages, the use of tobacco, unwholesome entertainment, the lack of consecration and church attendance. Shall abstain from the use of rings, jewelry, facial makeup, immodest apparel...Ladies: not to use shorts nor pants. Not to use tight dresses nor mini-dresses with openings on the sides or sleeveless dress. Nor use bikinis nor warm-ups. Doing this she keeps aways of fornication and adultery and all kind of lasciviousness. The christian woman should not cut or plait their hair. When she prayeth, she must cover her head with an appropiate veil, 1 Corinthains 11:4-7...Men: dress with modesty. Do not use their shirts unbutton or untucked. Should not wear shorts or bathing suits and use their "muscle-shirts" under their dressing shirts. Should cut his hair and when praying, the christian man should uncovered his head. Likewise brothers and sisters should dress properly, clean, bathed, modesty, in holiness to the services (how good the men look with ties). |
