Are you frustrated with the way your life is working out?  Do you have questions about God and feel lonely- wondering if God knows your name?  Do you have no place to turn? 

I am not surprised with your frustration!  Many have tried to make God happy through some life adjustments and still feel He is miles away?

It is easy to develop a distorted view of God and what He wants of you.  The Bible says that Satan is "the deceiver of the whole world".  The evil one- wants to distort God and true life with God through a great supernatural deception.  Because of him most people's view of God is badly distorted. (Check out our page on The Truth About God)  The Bible says about Satan - that  "the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy".  He steals and hides truth from us when He can, but Jesus said I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.  

In reality God is not distant or disinterested but really loves you with a great supernatural love, and Jesus came to show you God's great love by modeling a  dependent life and then dying on a cross for your sins.  He offer's you the gift of forgiveness for all your sins by trusting in Christ.  He said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except by me." 

Truly God loves you and by believeing in Christ love He offers you life.  He is even moving toward you right now at 225 miles an hour to be your functional source for life!  He loves you with an everlasting love and is like the hound of heaven - passionately seeking you in a sacred romance.  He loves you unconditionally with the only love He knows- an everlasting Father's love no matter what you have done nor where you have been. He desires to love you, forgive you and give His life to you.

I like to state  it this way.  Jesus Christ gave His life for you, so He could give His life to you, and so He could live His life through you.  In this is His great purpose for your life. 

He created you to love you and give His life for you!  Why? So He could give His Holy Spirit life to you- and live in your spirit life so you could love God and enjoy Him forever from the inside out. He wants to bring you alive in Christ so He could have an eternal relationship with you.  Friend, don't tie your value to Him as someone He needs to do some task or achieve some goal for Him.  His great purpose is the relationship and service is a by-product.  He will use you but He wants you to abide- you in Him and He in you.  He is God and can do for Himself.  His purpose for you is to create you and then bring you back in harmony with Himself through salvation.  God says "as many as receive Him, to them He gives the right to become the children of God. John 1:12  The Bible says "what manner of love the father has bestowed on us that we should be called the children of God."  .  That is His plan for Christian living- Life in the power of the Holy Spirit lived in you and then out through you.

This God is the one that that starts new days for us and with us from inside us.  May I as pastor show you how things can be different - how the Lord is working in your circumstances to bring you to the end of yourself and to come to depend on Him completely moment by moment.  He longs to set you free from the overwhelming feelings and false beliefs that threaten your your life.

Let me show you just some of lies of the enemy threatening to destroy us.

Believing that money and things will bring lasting happiness without God.

Believing that excessive food, alcohol, or drugs can relieve you stress and bring lasting happiness to you.

Believieving that possessing a ideal body will get you what you really want in life.

Believing that you can sin against Father without any negative consequences in this world or the next.

Believing that you can live your life doing your own thing refusing Christ and go to heaven anyway.
