Confirmation is a program of faith development for 7th and 8th graders.
At baptism, promises are made by the parents and sponsors to teach the child about the Christian faith, to put the Bible in their hands, and to help them to be involved in the life of the Christian community. Confirmation is the Church's ministry to assist parents in keeping that promise.
At Faith, the confirmation program is two years. The curriculum includes how to study the Bible, what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be a Lutheran. It includes:
- Parent involvement with leadership of the pastor
- Weekly classes - Wednesday nights
- Sunday School
- Acolyte duty
- Service hours
- Final project
- Service project
- Fellowship/fun events
