The mission of Synergia is simple: supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual health as co-workers with Christ through prayer, information, and fellowship.
Regarding my background, I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian resident physician (family medicine), clinical psychologist, volunteer healthcare chaplain, and author. As a former member of the Eastern Orthodox clergy, I strongly hold to the Biblical concepts of "the priesthood of all believers" (I Peter 2:9) and God's universal love and salvation (I Timothy 4:10). As such, I do my best to practice "medicine as ministry."
