SUKKOT IN TEXAS 2010 INFO
What Will It Cost?
There is NO fee for Sukkot in Texas 2010, however we do appreciate a onation to cover the increasd electric and water bills.
Children's Craft Fee
We will be having crafts for the children to participate in during the week of Sukkot. If you have children participating, we ask that you pay $5.00 per child to cover the cost of the craaft materials. There will be various craft projects and games for your children during the daily teaching sessions, and all materials will be provided. If this fee poses a problem for larger families, please let us know and we work with you. We do not want any kids left out due to lack of funds.
Pets
There are NO pets allowed at Sukkot in Texas 2010. We do not wish to offend, but in order to not have to decide what kind of pets to allow, how many, and what size; and to prevent accidental injury to other participants (especially small children), we ask that NO pets be brought to the Feast site.
Meals
This is a Torah Obedient event and all foods must be Biblically kosher. (This means no pork, shellfish, or other Biblically unclean food Note: We eat Biblical kosher, not Rabbinical kosher. Please ask if unsure before bringing food.).
All meals are the responsibility of the campers. Many campers share their meals pot-luck style, with everyone joining together with others. This is not a requirement to participate in pot-lucks, and no one should feel pressured to join in. Please remember to have enough for your family plus one other if you desire to participate in any pot-luck meals.
Dates
Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is an eight-day festival. We will be at the site for 10 days to allow for arrivals and departures, and to make allowances in our dates for the Rosh Chodesh sighting from
Facility Rules
For your safety and enjoyment of the facilities please observe common courtesy for everyone attending as well as at any event planned. Make sure you also read and are in general agreement with the "About the NTOCF Feast". If you have any questions on these rules, please contact us.
The easiest way to understand the rules is to remember to leave the property in the same condition you found it, and don’t impact someone else’s vacation. If you do those two things, everyone enjoying the Frio River will have a good vacation.
