Shalom Friends,

In Matthew 16:1-4  it says;

Yeshua had just before fed the 5000 people near the Galilee afterwards
the Pharisees and Sadducees came to Yeshua and tested him by asking him
to show them a sign from heaven. He replied, "When evening comes, you
say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red, and in the morning,
'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how
to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the
signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a
miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Yeshua
then left them and went away.

These leaders had either made the miracles he had done sound small or
claimed they were from HaSatan. They were now demanding another miracle
to test Him. Seeing their hypocrisy Yeshua said they could predict the
weather by looking at the sky but could not see the signs revealed in
his ministry of healing and miracles.

There are some even today that say they will not believe in Him till
they see a miracle. I had a friend in Florida named Bob Goldstein who
attended services. He was quite a character. His wife had been racked with
arthritis unable to walk. She had twisted joints and  scars on her
knees, ankles, elbows and wrists from surgeries to help her with her pain.
She was bound to a wheel chair. Some friends took her from her
apartment to the friend's upstairs apartment where they met for prayer and
study. They were taking her to the prayer meeting. As they were wheeling
her out they invited Bob but he said I will believe in Him when my wife
walks back down stairs. An hour later she walked down stairs pushing her
wheel chair and screaming look at me! With thankful tears in his eyes
he held his wife and became a believer in Yeshua that evening. I found
out about this because she would dance at services and I asked him why
she had such horrible scars and I found out about his story.

Anyone who truly seeks the truth has all the evidence necessary for
faith. The resurrection is an incredible historical event. The power of
the risen Messiah can be seen in many of his followers even today. It is
His Word that speaks to the mind and heart of every soul that truly
thirsts to be filled and seeks Him!

To ask for more is like those who ask for a sign.
