Isaiah 58: Our Vision

"Is this not the fast which I choose...

"Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into the house; when you see the naked, to cover him; and not hide yourself from your own flesh?

"Then your light will break out like the dawn, and your recovery will speedily spring forth; and your righteousness will go before you; the glory of the LORD will be your  rear guard.

"Then you will call, and the LORD will  answer; you will cry, and He will say, ' Here I Am.'

" And those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell."

Isaiah 58:6-9,12

Word from the LORD for 2008

In seeking God in prayer and meditation, I believe He has given me a Word to give to the people of God for 2008.

This will be the Year of Abundance for the people of God in the year 2008. With $100-a-barrel of oil, resulting gas prices are to go higher, higher electric bills, water, propane costs soaring, and recession proclaimed by the powers that be. A rise in diseases, flesh-eating staph infections, greenhouse gas effects, etc. Negative aspects of dying in a perverse world.

Now and in the years to come, IF you will position yourself, this will be the Year of Restoration and Increase, and in the next weeks to come I will give the Word of the LORD to equip you to believe and receive.

Now it's up to you! In reading a manual, IF you bypass the parts of the instruction to assemble, you most likely will find yourself stumped to complete the project. You know, "when all else fails, read the manual!"

So IF you miss out, don't blame God for your failure of obedience.

TO CLAIM A MIRACLE:

Read 2 Kings 4:1-7  What shall I do for you? You must HAVE to receive, you must ACT to produce.

Knowing WHERE to go when you don't know WHAT to do!

Don't seek a fleshly Messiah.

Find out what's in the "house." (You)

Don't be blinded by the Negative.

Pass by to the Positive.

Faith is not faith until there's action. DO SOMETHING!

Don't limit God's ability to provide!

Shut the door on doubt.

Pour until there is no more.

Move beyond the miracle.

God will provide enough. (I will meet your needs.)

"REMEMBER"   Don't rehearse your failures, complaints, or doubts. Rehearse God's promises and blessings.

A VISION FOR FOCC

§        Jesus is the only One True God. Don’t adapt to the worldview of God.

§        Focus on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your Faith.

§        Become what you believe, in Word, Conduct, and Commitment.

§        Be a Person of Integrity. Do what is right! Even when others are compromising, don’t let it rub off on you. If you are willing to compromise in small things, you will eventually compromise in the larger things.

§        Be a good Steward. If God has given you something to take care of, show Him and others you are a good steward.

§        Treat others better than yourself, especially when they don’t deserve it. We don’t treat others well to give a good impression, then go home and treat family badly. True growth begins at home, where making the more excellent choices might not seem so important.

§        Be the People of God! Stand for the Faith! Fight the Good Fight! You will never see the goodness of God and the fullness of His blessings unless you make the more excellent choices.

§        A person of excellence goes the extra mile to do what’s right, not because someone is watching or because they have to, but because it honors God and shows the testimony of their faith. If you have given your Word, you keep it; no hidden agendas or ulterior motives, even if it costs you. Let your Yes, be Yes and your No be No.
