"New Life Fellowship is a body of believers committed to restoration and revival.  Our church loves the Lord first and foremost. We believe in the Spirit-filled life and living under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We love and care for one another, and we do all we can to share the love of the Lord with others through a variety of ministries.  Our goal never changes:  It is to evangellize and disciple.  We want those without Christ to find new life (eternal life) in Him.  And when they do, we want to do all we can to help them grow in  the grace and knowledge of the Lord.

We invite you and your family to come and worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM.  We believe that inspirational singing, the declaration of truth from the Word of God, and good Christian fellowship will be a real blessing to everyone who attends our church.

Family Bible Study takes place here at NLF every Sunday at 9:30 AM.  At the present time, there is a class for adults, a class for youth, and a class for children.  We have an excellent nursery which is available each service for children ages birth through 4.  We also have a Children's Church for boys and girls, ages 5 through the 5th grade.  Children's Church meets during our morning worship service each week.  Boys and girls enjoy singing, videos, lessons from the Bible, and refreshments.

New Life Fellowship wants to do everything possible to minister to children and young people.  Our youth have an active program led by Youth Director John Chvatal.  John is a teacher in the Texas City ISD.  He is doing all he can "to steer young people in the right direction" spiritually.  Activities for the youth include Bible study on Sunday mornings, Faith Factor in the Terry Building (Family Life Center) on Wednesday evenings, and special planned actvities such as concerts, retreats, etc.

Come worship with us when you can.  Our church and our pastor stand ready to help you in anyway we can.  Our prayer is that Holy God will meet all your needs--whatever they happen to be.

Our Doctrinal Position

About The Word of God:

We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God.  We believe that "All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

About Jesus Christ:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin; that He lived in this world - yet without sin; that He was crucified and in His death bore the sins of every human being; that He was buried and on the third day, He arose from the dead, thus establishing redemption for all men who accept Him as Lord and Savior; that after a period of 40 days, He ascended into glory-- and one day He will come again to receive unto Himself the redeemed,  and to pass judgment on the ungodly who have rejected Him.

About the Holy Spirit:

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity.  He is the great convicter who points the ungodly to Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  He is also the great comforter who sustains and strenghens every believer.  His supreme desire is to infill every Christian daily so that Jesus wiill be who He is--King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About Mankind:

We believe that every man is a sinner by nature and sins of his own free will; that he lives under the condemnation of sin and needs to be saved; that salvation is a total work of the grace of Holy God, experienced when the unbeliever repents of his sins, believes on the Lord Jesus Christ and accepts Him as personal Savior; and that salvation is a present and permanent reality.

About Church Ordinances:

We believe that the ordinances of the Church, as set forth in the New Testament, are Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

About Baptism:

We believe that Baptism is the immersion in water of a new believer in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is the first act of obedience for every new Christian.  Baptism symbolizes the believer's death to his old life, and his resurrection to a new life in Jesus Christ.

About The Lord's Supper:

The Lord's Supper was instituted by Jesus the night before he was crucified on the Cross of Calvary.  The Lord's Supper is celebrated in remembrance of Him--in remembrance of His sacrifced body and His shed blood.  It is an act of worship which must be observed by only those who know the Lord--and it must be observed with a spirit of reverence.
