We would like to introduce you to the Family of Faith called Retama Park Baptist Church. Retama Park is a church filled with people from all walks of life who are bound together by their love for the Lord Jesus Christ, their desire to serve God and grow spiritually, and their care and concern for one another.

We are ordinary people who have discovered the joy of Christian living through faith in Jesus Christ.

We have a vision to be a blessing to our community by sharing the love of Christ with those who are searching for meaning in life.

Our desire is to provide those who become a part of our church the opportunities to grow in five key areas: your faith, your personal life, your family, your relationship, and your career.

Jesus said, "I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

Retama Park Baptist Church is excited to be a part of the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and the National Southern Baptist Convention.

Our church, and these conventions of churches, has as its hallmark the belief in the Bible as the trustworthy, inspired, inerrant, Word of God.

We are also proud ot be a part of supporting over 5000 foreign missionaries in 153 countries around the world, and over 5000 home missionaries here in the states through our prayers and offering to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention.

It is with great anticipation that we share with you the plans for the future of our congregation. For some time we have been discussing the need for more space for our church to grow. Looking at past attendance records we have come to realize that the size of our present sanctuary has limited the growth of our congregation to about 120 over several years. Though we are very proud of the spirit and love of our congregation we want to reach more of the city of Kingsville.

Our Long Range Planning Committee has come to full agreement that we want to grow to be a congregation of 300 and then have the strength and resources to start new missions, as well as other ministries. In order to accomplish this goal we must provide the space to house the larger congregation.

Our present plans that are being prepared by our New Building and Finance Committee include a new auditorium that will seat 400 people and a new Family Life Center for recreation and fellowship facilities. We are interviewing architects and moving forward with our plans.

Our prayer is for people of faith to join us in this great undertaking. If God leads you to be a part of Retama Park we hope you will share our vision and come with a willing heart to work and grow with us.
