Activities Throughout The Year

Easter Sunrise Service — Different congregations in

the community join together at the cemetery to celebrate

the risen Lord.

Spring Fling — A real old-fashioned church picnic.

Hamburgers, homemade ice-cream and games

provide fun and entertainment for the entire

community. Held the last Sunday in April.

Annual Mission Trip Golf Scramble — Helps fund

our youth mission trips. Loads of fun. Great prizes.

Youth Mission Trip — Each summer the church

youth have an opportunity to help someone in need

and experience real Christian fellowship.

Summer Camp — Each summer children and youth

(grades 3-12) have an opportunity to attend camp at

Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center in Glen Rose.

Vacation Bible School — A great experience for

children to have a good time and learn the values of

God.

Harvest Festival — Each fall church members join

together to host a community-wide dinner, auction,

craft and bake sales as the church’s annual fund

raiser.

Thanksgiving Service — Held the Sunday before

Thanksgiving, the local pastors share responsibilities

for the service, and food is provided.

Live Nativity Scene — The Christmas season is

celebrated in great style when church members enact

a live nativity scene at the church.
