One of my happiest childhood memories was when I spent weekends at my Aunt Nono's house. Nono was a great cook, uncle Auturo had a hilarious dry sense of humor, and best of all, they had lots of kids. All my other cousins also wanted to stay there. It was like having Six Flags, the Zoo, the beach, and the cinema rolled up into one big party. I remember we loved to play all-night games of Monopoly. On occasion, a card would turn up ordering us to go back to Go. We didn't mind so much that we couldn't collect the $200 bonus. Instead, we were happy because it extended the game. There are somethings in life where we should progress, like completing our education or raising a family. We can derive a sense of satisfaction for such achievements. However, sometimes it is a healthy thing to "go back to Go," that is, return to our spiritual beginnings. I believe we can all benefit from such introspectives. Where was that happy place were you first connected with God? Perhaps it is time for you to go back to Go?
