I am like the "Prodigal Son" Jesus told a parable about in the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 15:10-32. It’s a story of a son who disrespected his father and family by demanding his inheritance early. He left home and then became poor, lost and helpless in his rebellion and sin. As a young adult, I was on the same path of rebellion and sin. I rarely ever thought about God and surely didn't see Him as part of my life. Even though I had a high paying career, my own new car and an apartment and friends and family around, I was becoming extremely and increasingly lonely and tormented in my life. Like the prodigal, I went through a series of very bad experiences and became a hopeless, addicted mess of a person, but it wasn’t until I realized that my actual life was being threatened, that I called out in desparation to God for help and He saved me!

On that same day, God worked powerfully through my sister who had been encouraging me to attend her church fellowship and I miraculously decided to go. I began to hear God speak to me through His words in the Bible. I especially heard and believed Romans 3:23 which says, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." It was like I was waking up slowly and I realized this was true and that God was real. I knew that I was hopeless and helpless without Him and that He wanted me to repent and turn from my sin so that, just like the prodigal son, I could be His forgiven daughter and “come home to Him.”

 When I believed in Jesus as my Lord and Savior and repented of all my sins, my penalty for sin (death) was PAID IN FULL by Jesus' shed blood and death on the cross (which pays for the sin of the world)! Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, I too could be raised to a new, eternal life and be considered righteousness in God's sight, forgiven and reconciled to Him forever! This is the Gospel – the Good News and Truth for all who will believe because Jesus proclaimed the New Covenant in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

As I learned and believed these truths, I became Born Again (as Jesus described in the Gospel of John, Chapter 3)! God opened my spiritual eyes and changed my rebellious heart to love and serve Him. I wasn't alone anymore! It was as if I had passed through a door into a new world that materialized before my eyes. I felt like a new person altogether, aware of God and able to see and feel his love and care for me right there in my life! He assured me He had been there all along, but that this was His perfect way to win my heart. And that He surely did!

 Within a short time, I was baptized and God gave me a completely new life in His Spirit. He delivered me and healed me from my past sexual abuses and many serious addictions (smoking, alcohol, sex, bulimia and cocaine) and He restored me to love and trust in Him alone. Then God led me to my husband and gave us a daughter. God has blessed me beyond measure and I am so grateful! Because of God, I can see, I am free and I will never be lonely or alone again!

 God's love, mercy and mighty power brought me out of spiritual darkness and into His wonderful light and truths. I had to come to the end of myself first though. Through faith in Jesus, God can change us, heal us and give us salvation to eternal life with Him! When we repent (turn from sin) and believe in (trust in) Jesus as Lord, we are "Born Again" or "Born from Above," spiritually and  we immediately enter into God's family and Kingdom for eternity!

Now I know that God created me to glorify Him with my life and the relationships He has given me. I want to serve God always and help people through Christian missions, charitable giving and Perfect Plan Ministries - especially giving education and resources to needy Christian ministries in order to help them spread the Gospel of Christ Jesus who can and will help and save all who call upon His Name and believe in Him!

 I have always cared deeply about the welfare of others and wanted to help and give to those in need; their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing are very important to me. I aspire to be a Christian counselor, shepherding and serving women and youth so that I can be a faithful teacher, witness and friend to them and possibly guide them toward God for spiritual rebirth and healing in Jesus Christ!  

 I long for and pray for people to come to believe in God, repent of their sin completely and for them to see and acknowledge the truth of Jesus' life, death and resurrection for themselves and realize they can be saved from God's wrath against sin and death! I want them to be well-discipled and educated in the things of God in order to see and know Him though His Holy Word. I thank God for His perfect decisions and continued gifts of grace and mercy to humanity.

 It’s also my hope and prayer for Christian believers, being bought for the extremely costly price of Christ's precious blood, that they should sincerely repent and surrender their lives to God and live for Jesus alone as their Lord and Savior!!

 I am in total rapture and awe of God, His Word and His ultimate plan for our salvation, dying for sin on our behalf and rising up from the dead before hundreds of eye-witnesses in all power and glory! God has told us that all things have been placed under Jesus’ authority and judgement on His Judgement Day when God will settle all injustice and His wrath will destroy all that is evil, wicked and unjust. I thank God everyday for my salvation. Jesus truly is the Lord of lords and the King of kings! He is the King of my heart and the truest lover of my soul!
