FBCNN Youth Alive

On fire for Jesus

Welcome to the website of the Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church Newport News. Our logo expresses our desire that through our relationships and activities we challenge our youth:  Welcome to Youth Ministry!

  • providing a nurturing environment
  • encouraging a personal and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ
  • challenging youth to reach:

           UP - to honor God

OUT - to minister and share the Good News of Jesus

WITHIN - to deepen commitments to Jesus Christ and one another

Youth are important to the life of our church. We focus on leading our youth to develop a strong faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Youth Ministry also exists to provide middle and high school students a place to interact and build Christian relationshhips with one another. We would like to have the opportunity to minister to your family and friends. If you have any questions about our ministry, please feel free to contact me.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT NOTES:

Wednesday Night - January 20

Worship 101 - What is the best way to Worship? What is the focus?

This week we will be discussing this question. How do I worship? Is it praying, is it singing? My parents tell me I have to ________ for it to be worship. Is this true?

What do YOU THINK?

Come out on Wednesday night as we try to figure it out.

 ALL are welcome.

The Bible is the most published and the most read book in the history of the world. Have you ever wanted a plan to read the Bible through in only a year?  This link will take you to the Back to the Bible website. If you would like to get started then,
