Bethel Chapel Assembly of God, Brattleboro, VT.
To Reach, Teach, Worship God, and Send Out.

Are you a good person? If you answered,  "yes,"have you broken any of the Ten Commandments? In case you don't know them, I'll give them to you in a shortened version.  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.    2. You shall not make any idols.    3. You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain.     4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.     5. Honor your father and mother.      6. You shall not murder.    7. You shall not commit adultery.       8. You shall not steal.    9. You shall not lie.    10. You shall not covet.     The Bible says, if you break just one commandment, you're guilty of breaking all of them. God will use these commandments to judge each person. We are all guilty. We cannot pay the fine. There is great news......There is One person who can and already paid the fine for us.... It's Jesus the Messiah, who died on the cross and rose again.

DO YOU KNOW?  "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED;  For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in Him(Jesus), will NOT be disappointed.' Romans 10: 9-11

JESUS IS ALIVE and WELL! He wants a relationship with us. He knows you intimately because He created you, but He wants you to know Him. You can know Him. He loves you more than anyone else can possibly love you. He gave you a choice. It's your decision. Are you ready to surrender your life to Him?

If you decide to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, read your Bible regularly. Talk to Him throughout the day. He loves to communicate with you. He knows your thoughts, already, but He wants you to know Him! That's why we read and study the Bible, and go to church. Try to find a good, church that teaches the whole Word of God. You should be able to feel God's holy presence during the service and feel the Holy Spirit's conviction during the preaching of God's Word. By going to church, you will learn more about God and develop friendships that will encourage you in your new faith.

Being saved is an ongoing relationship with the Lord. Unless we live our faith, we cannot have eternal life. We need to repent of our sins (wrong doings), change the way we live. We can only do this with God's help. If you're tired of the way your life is going, give yourself to Christ today.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
