Father Kennedy is a Catholic Priest, (not Roman) . He is an Apostolic Catholic Priest in an Orthodox Catholic church. A dynamic growing communion of independent Catholic churches full of Christians who believe and practice the Apostolic, Orthodox Catholic Faith of the ancient undivided Church. We have the same heritage as the great Western Catholic Churches (Roman Catholic), but it is ecumenical in that, all baptized believers, regardless of denominational background, are welcome to partake of its sacraments. It is a church of warmth and open arms. As an ordained priest , Father Kennedy officiates at Catholic and Christian weddings in private homes, hotel suites, various outdoor locations, and other special venues as well as the Church. He can do a traditional Catholic rite (including a full Nuptial Mass - in the proper venue), or he can perform a simpler Christian rite. Divorce and re-marriage are not barriers. Couples are free to marry regardless of their marriage history. Father Kennedy is able to preside at the ceremonies of people from all Christian backgrounds. He is very flexible and can put together wedding ceremonies that fit the spiritual needs of the couple. He does, however, only perform spiritual weddings based upon a faith in Jesus Christ as savior. Please be sure to confirm Father Kennedy’s availability prior to booking as his schedule is very busy with church duties, teaching and celebrating the Sacrament’s and his calendar fills quickly. His donations vary depending on the type of wedding and time commitments. For a simple, beautiful chapel wedding or outdoor wedding (using the Roman Rite of Marriage Outside Mass), he asks a donation of $100.00. For larger weddings in hotels or specialized wedding venues (usually requiring a preliminary meeting and/or rehearsal), he requests a donation of $200.00. For a full Nuptial Mass in the church or other appropriate location, Contact him for information. The fees are not manditory, and Father Kennedy will gladly accept whatever you wish to donate.
