A Brief Statement on Scripture

We believe the canon of scripture is still open, for God is still speaking. We believe that when God speaks to our world by the voice of prophets, and that message is recorded, scripture is born. We do accept the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, in their fullness, and insomuch as they have been rendered unto us faithfully and correctly, to be God's word to us as disciples of Christ. We also accept the Nephite Scriptures, as well as any other divinely inspired work in which the voice of God is discerned.
