The Wesley Learning Center Welcomes Dr. Thompson....

Starting Tuesday October 24th, Dr. Ken Thompson will be joining the permanent volunteer staff at the Wesley Learning Center. This is an exciting time for the learning center to have such a prestigious person added to their ranks. Dr. Thompson (a retired Army Colonel) joins the staff which includes Dr. Rick Brown (grant writer) Mrs. Ruth DeGroff (retired college professor) Mrs. Miriam Hambrock (collegiate academic all-American). Dr. Thompson will be working with students in World Geography and life skills.


Tri-County PepBand Concert

Tuesday October 24th

On Tuesday October 24th, the Tri-County Pep Band under the direction of Mr. Bill Femal will give a concert starting at 7 pm. The Wesley Learning Center's own Chris Hambrock will be performing with the band on two instruments; the guitar and the saxaphone.

Also performing on Tuesday will be Allysa Montez. Allysa is a member of the Hancock Wesleyan Youth and will be playing the flute. Last year the concert was crisp, exciting, and fun. This year, it is expected to be even better!


Erika Hamiton,

First WLC Student To

Take P-S.A.T.

Saturday October 21st will be groundbreaking for the Wesley Learning Center as Erika Hamilton will be their first student to take the P-S.A.T. college entrance exam. This is a big mile stone for both Erika and the Learning Center as together they prepare to move forward in education. Erika is a junior and hopes to persue a career in nursing. "God bless you Erika. You will be in our thoughts and prayers"
