Current Opportunities for Mission
- Senior Life Services Needs Help - SLS is in need of volunteers to serve in a number of capacities such as meal delivery, monthly celebration parties, and activity leaders for interest groups such as Bible study, exercise programs, craft classes, bridge lessons, and book discussion groups. Please consider how you can lighten the heart of the seniors in our community. Contact the Volunteer and Activities Committee at the Senior Center at 258-3096.
- PASS Program - The local PASS (Providing Academic and Self-EsteemSupport) Program always has need of volunteers. Interested persons are encouraged to support the program at the elementary school level. Special training is required and provided free to volunteers. Volunteers may choose the student, time, day of week, and the school. Please contact June Redick (258-1829) or Gerald Chaskes (258-9754). If you wish to participate at the Intermediate School level, call Karen Whisner (258-2024).
