The Cheyenne Brethren Church celebrates the reality of new life in Jesus Christ, and empowers people to share their new life with others, grow in spiritual maturity, commit to dynamic relationships, and serve the world in Christ's name.
Our History …
The Brethren Church began in Germany in 1708 with a small group Bible study, being dissatisfied with the established church of that time. Shortly after its founding, the Brethren Church came to America, settling first in Germantown Pennsylvania in 1719. The Brethren were a rural people, sharing the good news of Christ with the early Pennsylvania kitchen being the center of its witness and service.
Over the last two centuries the Brethren Church has seen great change, with the establishment of churches throughout the United States, and missions throughout the world. Headquartered in Ashland Ohio, the Brethren church continues its work through Ashland University, Ashland Theological Seminary and the over 125 congregations that comprise the denomination. Our Church ...

We continue to promote the ideals of the Brethren Church through the centrality of the Bible, the ministry priority of all believers, and the commitment to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
