Pastor Joe is in a play at the Theatre of Western Springs January 29 (Today is the last day!!). The play is called Sly Fox, a comedy written by Larry Gelbart, who wrote M.A.S.H. You can contact the theatre for tickets.
Please save your Christmas cards, birthday card, other holiday cards, really any occasion of cards. Drop them off in the church office or give them to any us "crafters". We have many new craft ideas that use the pictures from the cards. Thanks
Our Youth Group will again hold a Youth Group Plant Sale. Orders and payment are due by March 14th. Plant pickup is May 12th & 13th. Our prices have remained the same as last year. Order forms are available in the narthex, please look one over and take one for a friend. All profits will go to support our summer mission trip to Tower Hill Camp. Thanks

Getting To Know You!! Parish Fellowship wants everyone to learn each other’s names. You will find your nametag on the table in the south corner of the Narthex by the front door. WCC will again host Cluster 4 Ski Trip—This event will be held on Saturday, February 4th. We will go to the Mountain Top at Grand Geneva. The group cost is $38 for Skiing Lift Ticket and Lesson or $54 for the same plus ski rental. Snowboarding is also available. For more information please call the church office or stop by (there are forms to be filled out). Sign up sheet is in the Narthex. Please let us know if you are attending by Monday, January 23rd. Please take the time to return the Village of Westchester Economic Development Survey—it was in last week’s bulletin, and extra copies are in the narthex. Whether you are a resident or not, this survey will help our community in its planning for future businesses, and supporting existing ones. Thank you.
A special Forum on the Village of Westchester’s comprehensive plan (including economic development) will be held HERE AT WCC IN THE FIELD FELLOWSHIP HALL—on Thursday, February 2, 6:30-8:30 p.m. What should Westchester look like in 2030? Share your ideas! We want to hear them. This is hosted by our Village in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.

Did you notice the Big Red Box on the south side of our parking lot? In this box we are collecting clothing, shoes and linens to raise money for St. John UCC. Items you put in the box are used to help people in need and any unusable items are sold for scrap. So clean out that closet and put any discarded items in the red box. Thanks, the Mission Board.
The WCC Thursday morning volunteers (TERRORS) have completed painting the walls and ceiling between Field Fellowship Hall and both installing chair rails and constructing a closet/storage area in the Lounge. We work TWO THURSDAYS each month. Winter/Spring schedule is set for Feb 9, 16; March 8, 15 and April 5 and 12. We meet for breakfast at 7:45 am at LePetite Restaurant on Mannheim Road and work from 9 am until noon. New volunteers are always welcome.
Hi Everyone, It’s that time again. Please save any unwanted calendars for the men and women at Hines Hospital, and put them in the box on the table in the Narthex. Save the day, Flea Market Saturday, May 5th. You can buy a table and sell your own items or you can donate items to the church. If you donate items to the church, our ladies will sell the items with the proceeds going to the church. We will make money from the sale of tables and the sale of the items you donate. A café will be selling breakfast and lunch items. If you are interested in working in the kitchen, please let Barb 708/562-0759 or Dorothy 708/562-5888 know. More details about the event will follow shortly.
