Our Policy about Ordaining Deacons

Being that I Timothy 3:8-13 includes Deaconess (some translation say wife), and the pronoun he and his can be used for men and women both. The main purpose shall be to only ordain the most qualified regardless of sex. Hope Baptist Chapel shall be able to ordain men or women as appropriate, but effort shall be made to make sure that the church does not have only women to rule. According to Titus 2:3-5, a standing rule shall be that women minister to women and men minister to men.

O, may God save and bless every section of his one church, and not our own tribe.
