5 SATURDAY 2PM  Appreciation Dance  for Outgoing tonkawa Princess at the TonkawaTribal Gymnasium. Gourd dance at 2PM, evening meal at 5:30PM, Gourd dance at 6:30PM.

KAY COUNTY RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP): is located at 205 West Hartford, Suite 100 in Ponca City . Phone Traci at =762-9412. The office of Kay County RSVP is funded by NSSC, Oklahoma Dept of Human Services and the Ponca City United Way . RSVP provides free help to find a place where you are needed and can volunteer in over 60 public and private agencies in Kay County . They also have free volunteer secretaries to help you write, copy letters etc. They have a free program called "Partners in Awareness" that works with our Ponca City Police and Emergency agencies to know where elderly and handicapped persons live who might need assistance in storms or other emergency situations. They have FREE emergency cell phones to give senior citizens  which only phone 911. . They have a program for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren on 2nd Mondays at 5:30-7PM in the First Christian Church with meal for Grandparents and grandchildren followed by activities for both. They offer free daily telephone reassurance checks for those who live alone. They have a Caretaker support group on first Tuesdays at noon with lunch at lst Lutheran Church 1101 N. 4th. KAY COUNTY RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP): is located at 205 West Hartford, Suite 100 in Ponca City . Phone Traci at =762-9412. The office of Kay County RSVP is funded by NSSC, Oklahoma Dept of Human Services and the Ponca City United Way . RSVP provides free help to find a place where you are needed and can volunteer in over 60 public and private agencies in Kay County . They also have free volunteer secretaries to help you write, copy letters etc. They have a free program called "Partners in Awareness" that works with our Ponca City Police and Emergency agencies to know where elderly and handicapped persons live who might need assistance in storms or other emergency situations. They have FREE emergency cell phones to give senior citizens  which only phone 911. . They have a program for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren on 2nd Mondays at 5:30-7PM in the First Christian Church with meal for Grandparents and grandchildren followed by activities for both. They offer free daily telephone reassurance checks for those who live alone. They have a Caretaker support group on first Tuesdays at noon with lunch at lst Lutheran Church 1101 N. 4th. PONCA CITY ARTS CENTER    FREE  The Ponca City Art Center at 8th and Central, is exhibiting June 1-30 "Synthetic Landscape art"  by Grace Grothaus at the Ponca City Art Center  at 8th and Central.  Exhibit is open from 1-5 Wednesday through Sunday Information =Jerry Cathy  765-9746.  .

PONCA CITY LIBRARY FREE Chinese and  American art. (closed Dec.25,26,27 ) $3 admission( $2.50 Sr. Citizens). Located on 701 Monument Road Information=765-6108

PONCA CITY POST OFFICE:   Has a number of paintings on exhibit in the lobby.  
MARLAND GRAND HOME: Open 10AM-5PM Tuesday though Saturday. 1000 East Grand. Entrance Fees $3. Students=$1 (Free to PC residents with PC address on a photo ID). Exhibits: Main Floor=E.W.Marland Home, 2nd Floor= Indian Life, Basement=101 Ranch, SE Room= Daughters of American Revolution (DAR), and outside the Oklahoma Flag Court . Info=767-0427
MARLAND MANSION 901 Monument Drive . Open 10-5 Mon-Sat, 1-5=Sundays. Entrance fees.$7, Seniors and Students $5, Children=$4. (FREE to Ponca City Residents with Ponca City address on a Photo ID) Exhibits: E.W.Marland home, Oil Museum , Making of the Pioneer Woman Statue and other works by its artist. Information=767-0420. Closed New Years Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and  December 24 and 25. Free 24 hour lighted walking trail.
PONCAN THEATRE LOBBY ART 104 E. Grand. Open 10AM -5PM Mon-Fri Cost=$4 for tour.
STANDING BEAR MUSEUM, EDUCATION CENTER and PARK have FREE ADMISSION on 601 Standing Bear Parkway (South on 4thStreet at Hiway 60) . Open Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM , Sat 10AM-2PM , Closed Sundays. Exhibits include Smithsonian Native American-Black history, Artworks by Wilt Harris, and a display onThe Making of the Movie "The Trial of Standing Bear" , Art work of Oreland C. Joe, Tribal Displays. This is in Standing Bear Park which has a 22 foot bronze statue of Standing Bear, and local Indian informational tribal exhibits along a walking path. There are also walking trails across the park and a Labyrinth Meditation Walk as well as the camp grounds and the Standing Bear Powwow grounds for the powwow held the last weekend in September.
