(Starts June 7th)

Sunday School
is on vacation

We welcome all to our family,

the family of Christ

Our family

Come!

Worship and Serve God, as revealed by the Christ Jesus, with us!

Welcome to this website.

We are ever RE-constructing.

We are ever RE-developing.

We are ever taking the initiative to transform ourselves towards the ideals that God bestows within this, His Creation.

Exercise with Teri

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7PM in the Fellowship room. Open to ladies of all ages, Teri will have you bending, stretching and balancing...and enjoying it!
Our lives are made of spirit, mind and body. Like a tripod, if you let one leg go, the other two can't fully give support. Teri's exercise classes are a low-impact way to support your human tripod. And they're fun too!

Holy Smokes!

What's cooking at Cheswick Presbyterian?
Every Sunday following Worship (when the chimes play) we are serving lunch. Growing weekly in popularity, these meals provide good food for the whole family in an atmosphere of Christian acceptance. There is no set price for a meal. We cook it, YOU decide what it's worth. Place your money in the envelope provided and drop it in the basket on your way out. If you can't afford the money, well, times are tough, we've been there too. If you can afford to drop in a little extra to help others, then we will gratefully accept your kindness. The menu is different every week, but the pizza and pork wraps are always there. C'mon down and enjoy!

What's cooking this week?

To honor dad on Father's day we're cooking out this week. Hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, with baked beans, potato salad, antipasto salad and fruit and melon medley. We'll still have our pulled pork wraps and pizzas and look for our home made apple and blueberry pies. Whipped cream is optional.

Holy Smokes! is a private business founded by Scott Mishler, Joe Martin, Mike Knauer, Rob Montgomery, Judy Mishler, Jan Mishler, Tom Mellon and Magen Gonzales. We use the commercial kitchen facilities at the church to serve you the best food we can at a price you can afford. We have no set prices, we ask only that you put whatever you feel you can afford into an envelope we provide and leave it in the basket on your way out. Holy Smokes! wants to feed you and your family in a place and in a way that puts no demands at all on you. It is an accepting, non-secular setting where conversation can be had along with great food. When we can, we will be moving to our own facility, where we plan to have daily service with music, books, speakers and some awsome smoked meats you can order for home or eat right there.

Good News!

The allegheny county health department has ok'd our dishwashing system. Final approval is anticipated once the inspector is contacted.

The members of the Cheswick Presbyterian Church are regaining their vitality to worship and serve God.

Foremost, we share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with Trinitarian formulation.

For us, Good News means that the sovereign creative power of the universe was, is, and will forever remain God, The Creator and Sustainer.

And that now the same power and presence sustains and upholds "The Universe" by changing it.

God's creation is alive, vibrant and filled

  • with a future that brings the ancient and current "Good News" revealed by Jesus, The Christ, as revealed in scripture.

  • with a future that is alive, vibrant, and filled with potential, possibilities and marvelous divine promises.

  • with a future that steadily moves forward as promised by God, The Almighty, and learned by life-long studying both the Holy Bible and the whole of God's creation.
