JOHN 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life"
Matthew 3:1-3, In those days John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness of Judea, proclaiming, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near," This is the one of whom the prophet Isaiah spoke when he said, "The voice of one crying out in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord, make his path straight'"

Greetings from the pastor.
The United Presbyterian Church of Ambridge has been in
existence since 1977 when two congregations - The Grace and
the Calvary Presbyterian churches became united. Each of these congregations had been founded in 1904 so our present day congregation has a long history of Worship and Praise, Christian Education, Mission and youth work. Our members, through the gifts given to us by our Lord, seek to give witness to our Living God.
Lead by our Evangelism Committee, we are currently trying to open our doors and share the joy and peace of the Church through a new outreach program. Also, drawing on our strong tradition of youth work, we are in the progress of reinvigorating our youth programs. We keep ourselves open to new ways in which the Holy Spirit leads us as we continue to adjust to the new situation that we and all of us are forced to adjust to in Western Pennsylvania.
Above all, we seek to support each other as brothers and sisters in faith, giving life to the Great Commandment as found in Mark 12:28-31, One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he had answered them well, he asked him "Which commandment is first of all?" Jesus answered "The first is 'Hear O Israel: the Lord your God , the Lord is One; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind, and with all your soul, and with all your strength'. The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Therefore, in the name of members and officers of the United Presbyterian Church of Ambridge, all are welcome to worship and work with us in the name of God.
