Worship at Beth Israel

Our worship services are done in Hebrew, English and Spanish and sometimes have a dash of Ladino. Our purpose is to lift up Praises to the King of Kings and break through any barriers because of the world that may keep us bound up spiritually and hinder us from entering the Sabbath rest.

We praise in different languages and praise Him in the Hebrew dance. All this may sound confusing to some but our belief is very simple; Yeshua is the hope and Savior for all peoples regardless from what tongue or tribe you are from. Surrendering your life to Him and following the true Shepherd of souls and receiving forgiveness for your sins is the whole key to gaining eternal life.

Our worship and our service is done in a Jewish way because Yeshua (Jesus) himself was Jewish, the entire New Testament was written by Jews and the first believers were Jews. Come and join with us in praise and fellowship.

We welcome anyone who desires to learn about the “Jewishness” of the gospel. Many Latinos have Jewish ancestry and feel right at home. So please visit us next Shabbat or for prayer time or study as we learn more about the L-RD of all.

Who are Sephardic Jews?

Sephardic Jews are descendants of Jews from Spain, Portugal and Italy. Latinos host a particularly rich Jewish Sephardic heritage. The term "Sefarad" originally appeared in the Bible to refer to the children of Israel who were exiled from Canaan to Sarepta (Obadiah 1:20). Since the end of the VIIIth Century, "Sefarad" refers to Spain and Spanish Jews. It was then furthered to all Jews from the Communities around the Mediterranean.
