Be encouraged by the work others are doing... and get some great ideas for your website too!
(View this eTip online)
One of the greatest things about your ForMinistry website is collective community. What I mean by that is you have the opportunity to learn and grow from other groups and ministries using ForMinistry to build their websites. Take a look at what other people are doing with their websites and what people are saying about them. See the way they layout their resources, use images, and format text, and you can use those ideas for your own!
Anything that you see on another ForMinistry website you can do as well on yours. Of course, you don't want to copy exactly what one particular ministry has on their site (unless they have given you permission to do so), but any design and layout ideas you can get that would build up your site is exactly what community is all about.
I know it can be a little discouraging and overwhelming when it comes to website building. But don't lose heart! There are some great resources out there for you, and the more you learn, the more you'll improve - and the better your website will be! And remember, you can always contact us for questions or problems that you are having. If you see something that you think may work on your website or want to know if it will work, please don't hesitate to contact me, and I will do my best to help.

Check out what some people have been saying about their ForMinistry websites:
"The website has the ability to help keep our congregation informed and up to date. It can quickly convey important information (e.g. storm closures, schedule changes), as well as highlight projects, programs and events important in the life of our church..."
- Tim McLean, Bedford Baptist Church
"Because of ForMinistry, our site has brought people to Jesus and our church. It has also become a great means of letting our membership know what's going on, and a place to list our prayer concerns. In my opinion, that's what a web ministry is all about..."
- Odette Cummings, First Baptist Church
So you can share too! Just take a moment and tell us about your encouraging experiences with ForMinistry. Thanks so much!
