Web_builder Tips - Daily Bible Reading

This month ForMinistry is focusing on how to engage Scripture and allow God to use it to change lives. Did you know your Web site can be an effective means of reaching people through the power of God’s Word?


The Daily Bible Reading is a preformatted text item that displays a different portion of Scripture each day. There are also three different versions to choose from:
  • The Contemporary English Version (CEV)
  • The New International Version (NIV)
  • The King James Version (KJV)

To place a daily bible reading item on your Website:

  1. Make sure you are in Edit Mode.
  2. This will bring up the Page Controls that will enable you to add text and images to your page. 
  3. You will see this display:

    textedit
  4. Click on Other and you will see the image window displayed. 
  5. Select Daily Reading.
  6. Click on Reuse a Daily Reading Item.
  7. When the content window opens, under Scope select Public Daily Reading Items from the drop down menu.
  8. Select appropriate item and click on Add Item to Page.
  9. When finished, click on Save and Update.
