ForMinistry Web Builder is the web-based toolkit that enables you to build church and ministry Web sites for online ministry. web_builder is the name of the ForMinistry channel, where you find tips, guides, and all things related to using Web Builder.
This page will keep you updated on technical system status concerning Web Builder.
04/18/05 There's a great new function for when you schedule an item on your website. You have the option to automatically removed the item from the pages once the time runs out - just select the button for 'Yes, Remove Automatically."
02/02/05 The search function within the Content Manager has been restored and fixed. Now you can search for content previously added into the Content Manager as recent as yesterday. Search index updated nightly.
01/20/05 The Site Statistics function is available again. You may view both past and current statistics upon editor's login.
12/21/04 The Site Statistics function is expected to return in January 2005. Thank you for your patience as we've been unexpectedly delayed in developing this.
10/22/04 Slowdown fix: we found a segment in the Web Builder code that used other external web services, which had become intermittently unresponsive, and slowing down the system. We've fixed it by changing dependencies. You should notice a faster system response now.
10/11/04 Bug fix: image uploading from Mac browsers, namely Mac OS X using either Mozilla 1.3.1 (or higher) or Netscape
7.02 (or higher). [only these 2 browsers are compatible with Web Builder at this time]
10/05/04 The Site Statistics function was scheduled to be re-released by end of September, but due to some other developments, we had to postpone for a couple weeks. We are trying our best to get them back up by the end of October.
8/19/04 The ability to view your church’s basic website statistics (e.g., hits, page
views, visitors) will be available by the end of September 2004.
7/23/04 “View Site Statistics” (an edit mode function) will be temporarily disabled, in order to increase the speed and performance of ForMinistry-powered Web sites. We are researching a way to provide statistics that maintains the faster performance of the
system. In the mean time, the basic statistics (e.g., hits, page views, visitors) are still being collected.
